Thumbs down not happy

Took the L in for the door crack, not only did the door come back with a scratch but the passenger side window tint is all scratched as well, they also told me that they couldnt do an alignment because the rims are to big,on a previous visit the service mng told me that they were the only ''true SVT'' dealer in the area and that all the other SVT dealers get the vehicles from them. This is the third dealer ive tried for service and have had issues with them all!!!!!

sorry just had to rant,i picked the L up last night and im leaving now to go back and pitch a bitch, ill post results later

Is your truck still under warranty? I ask this only because I have the door crack issue and I am way out of warranty. Sorry to hear about your problems, it seems no one has good experiences anymore.

Join the club!! I refuse to take mine back to a dealer for anything if I can help it!! You will never get it back in the same condition you left it in. I had a head replaced about a month ago and they busted a wheel pulling onto the rack, srv. mgr. wanted to "repair" the wheel, I refused that scenario and requested a new wheel. After a damn near throw down with him he agreed, but said he didnt want to see my truck back in "his" shop because I was too picky about it!!
So I bought me a scan tool and Ill repair everything myself.........screw the warranty! Dealerships just dont care!! Last time I was in there they scratched both front fenders to the metal on my Expedition replacing coil packs and stole 12 cd's!!!
Ok Im done ranting, just hate dealerships!!!

Skank Dog,

I grew up in East Texas and know my way around Tyler pretty well. Which dealership told you not to come back? Tell me, and they will never see any business from me.

So what if you are particular about your truck...aren't we all? That was just another way to say, "We don't want your business." Sheesh.

Shazbot- Its Tyler Ford here on loop 323. It use to be Fairway and White's, but is now named Tyler Ford. There is a Lincoln Mercury dealership here(Jack O Diamonds) but they refuse to do any drive train work on Lightnings. The next closest dealership is about 45 miles away! Everyone Ive talked with has had bad experiences with Tyler Fords service dept. Their sales dept. is about as bad!
The serv. mgr. told me they treat every car the same that comes into their service dept. and he couldnt gaurantee me something wouldnt happen to it again and that something wouldnt get stolen out of it. He has lots of control over his employee's hu? Thats strange, because I saw a Jaguar and a Viper in his shop parked away from everyone and everything. Oh well, I'll never go back!

Everytime I took my truck into a Ford dealer for service I was disappointed. What can you do?

Well after returning to the dealer everything is fixed they buffed out the scratch, body shop mng tried to say that i did the scratches on the window untill i informed him that i dont need to rip off a dealer to have the tint redone i can afford the $40 or so to have it done,i also told him that if i did do it that i would have had it peeled and replaced within 24hrs and here it is less then 24hrs since ive had the truck back and im standing here talking to you about it,needless to say after that told me to go back to the place where i had it done and to have them call him for a PO#.I just dont get it some places i go i get treated like a superstar because of this truck and other places couldnt care ales if it were a dam Scamp(i hate those cars when i was a kid my dad had one what made it really bad was he was a volenteer fireman and he had a big blue gumball on top it was lime green)
