I was washing my truck yesterday and when cleaning the driver-side rear rim, I noticed a greasy residue on the inside. I slid underneath to see what it was and found fluid leaking from within the wheel. Wheel cylinder or bearing maybe? I don't know.

Anyway, I want to get if fixed asap. I'm here in NJ and was wondering if any locals could suggest a good quality SVT dealership in the area? Also, one that's not gonna bust my chops for having the JDM mods. If possible. Any info is appreciated.

That axle seal leak is pretty common on all F150s. Its not hard at all to fix, and any dealership should have done plenty. If u run out of options, take a trip down here to NC and ill get u fixed up.

That being said, I spoke to the dealership that I bought the truck from (used lot, not a Ford dealer). He said they use Oasis all the time. Said he would set something up for me when I'm ready. I asked him if they're sticklers about mods and he said he's never had a problem with them.

Anyone ever deal with Oasis?

OASIS is just a computerized database of a vehicle that ford dealerships use to track info on a veh. by its VIN.

give me your vin and i'll demonstrate.

 

Gotcha..Sorry for the confusion. I was talking about the dealership Oasis Ford here in Jersey where I plan to bring the truck to get the seal fixed .
