Lightbulb 9 second 2003 Cobra possible...

I know this car is getting talked about alot in this forum but I think it's rightfully so. Whatever can work on our engine should be pretty close to working on the new cobra engine and vise versa. Which brings me up to my point. If our tuners can bring a 13.5 second truck with an automatic transmission down to low 11's and high 10's, is a 9 second 6 speed cobra that hard to imagine? Even if the power levels cant get that high for some reason there always is the advantage of weight and aerodynamics. I was just wondering how expensive it would be to set up a 9 second package for the cobra. Hennesey and Lingenfelter did it for the Viper and Corvette....who's gonna do it for the Cobra!? Would be great to see a street legal cobra beat cars many times it's price to the 9 second mark...just a thought

Speed costs money ..... How fast do you want to spend?

My buddy was looking at a convertible 03 Cobra ....
$ 39,000 for the car
$ 2,500 dealer markup
$ 3,320 sales tax
-------------------------
$ 44,820 plus finance charges OUCH!

Then if you ever want to race it you gotta butcher it to add a roll bar.

StreetKing has a few 9 second cars. One being a new vette and one being a Supra.... I think both are 6-speeds....

My dealer is selling the cobra cheaper than that (No markup) I think it was like 34k for coupe and 38k for conv. Something like that
