How lon does that smell last nasty also does the tone change at all after break in?

Really depends on how much you drive it.

Mine went away in about a week or so.

The tone does change for the better... sounds bad azz

The smell took a few weeks to go away with mine. But thats only being driven a few times a week. Same with the sound, it got better over time.
