Chrome 20's installed

I wasn't sure how chrome wheels would look on a silver truck, since the factory wheels match so well. After installing them I liked the look it gave the truck. I'm done w/ apprearance mods, time to save up for 10's. Unless my wife kills me first.

Did you notice a difference in your ride when you installed the 20's, or is it negligible? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I didn't feel a difference at all in the ride. The tires are actually the same height....295/45

Ride is pretty much the same.....I must say you can feel the weight difference though...acceleration is a little off. I weighed just the rim before mounting...a whopping 48 pounds each, without the tire....I'm doing some work with the rims off this weekend, I'll weigh them with tires and all and see what those monsters are...I'm betting well over 75#'s each. i'll also weigh the stock set-up for reference

I'm assuming that's with tire?

Cervini's makes it. I drove up there an bought one as soon as it was released. Great fit and finish, requires no body work to paint.

Thumbs up

Hey,

Those wheels and tires look awesome on your truck. Time to save for the 10's or 9's??

The 20" tire & wheel combo in the 45 series are about 1 inch taller than the stock 18's.

The 295/45/20 tires ride much better than the 295/40/20 tire. IMHO

Each 20 inch tire & wheel weighs about 80 lbs or more each. But they look good on the street and you can take them off when you go to the track.

Hey wolff,

Send me an E-mail, I can lead you in the right direction.
