hey man, 5 months is not that long to wait. I had to wait 9 months, and make several phone calls, and write a few emails!

Greetings

You are entitled to a one year free membership in the SVTOA. It will happen automatically. You need not do anything. You will receive a welcome kit in several weeks.

To get your certificate you may want to call 800-367-3788

Tom
<<<<<<<end email reply>>>>>>>

I called to get the certificate but they said Aug would be the earliest I could get it. No biggie... I can wait for that... but My 12months are almost half over and I still have no access to svtoa
I did however start getting the SVT Enthusiast Mag..... well I got one, the May/June Vol. 5 Issue 2

Guess I need to send ANOTHER "reminder" email

I got mine yesterday after buying the truck in Feb. Oooh - A PIN! And a STICKER!! AND A KEYCHAIN!!!! And a CATALOG to buy more SVTOA stuff! Weeeeeee!!! big dallop of sarcasm I guess since it was free I shouldn't complain.

OTOH, Datek send me a nice black cap with a nicely embroidered logo on it yesterday too. (I guess they wanted to remind me that I'm still sitting on cash and not trading.) It also cost me nothing.

Guess which one I like better?

I got mine today.... I didn't get the pin though.. guess the mail man wanted it more than I did. I did get what I wanted which was my membership number (so i can get my username & password for the svtoa website), so all is well. I will use the keychain on my 'shop' keys.

Thumbs up

Wish they could make me an SVTOA virtual member!

I mean I love SVT... I promote it! I provide a service to the SVT community by the registry as well as chipping in organizing events! A good portion of my live evolves around SVT right now, I even park my car around the corner anytime we set up an SVT event to not take away from all those beautiful cars.... Come on SVTOA, if you're reading this whoever you are make me a damn member!!!!

SVTOA are a bunch of crooks and incompetent idiots.

'Nuff said. That's what happens when the factory trys to run a car club.
