Lightning do that...

Easy, just tighten the suspension and remove all traction control.

I can do powerturns on pretty much any corner I want if my traction bars are on (and the bed is empty).

Of course power slides aren't the fastest way around a corner, but they sure do look cool.

now i see it...

The first video was crap, wasnt even sure what the big deal was...second clip, holy crap! Thats some good driving I have to admit. I'm think you would need some really good tires to pull that off in a Lightning without letting her slide out from under you. Maybe some weights in the bed would help. So whats the guy at the end say?

madhouse...

The deal with the gen1 fell through... I looked around for a while and didn't really find any gen1 worth buying. when the new apr's came out last year from ford... i took the offer traded in my 00 xlt and bought me the lighest combo truck i could find... that was a xl w/ a 4.2 5-speed. I'm happy with it right now and for a total of 15,500 before taxes w/ 100k mile warranty you couldn't pass it up.

I didn't really want to put alot of miles on a Lightning anyhow... work is killing my mileage. truck will be 1 year old on october 5 and I already have 28078 miles!!!

give me about 2 years and once the gen2's can be had for ~ 17k Then I think i'd be time to upgrade... if i can get insurance...

$350 even a month for insurance on a v6 truck!!!!
