Question 18x8.5 wide enough?

i sold my twenties and decided to back
to 18s with the 295/45/18,except all the custom
wheels are 18x8.5 or a few are x9.
i had 305s on a 17x8 rim before so i know itll fit.
but would the 8.5 wide be noticeable ?????

I don't think 18x8.5 is wide enough. I found a lot of custom wheels in the 18x9.5 size. Try Billet Specialties www.billetspecialties.com. I got the GTX70 and I have seen another Lightning with the GT53, but they have dozens of styles in the correct size. They also do custom backspacing so you can get a factory style fit. Some of the other wheel manufacturers like Centerline and Weld have 18x9.5 but the backspcing is off by a half inch or so.
