Hey everyone,
What kind of ET drop are you seeing for every 10 degrees of temp. change? This is the time anyone using a powercooler can let me know the results.
Examples from my notes 12.89 on a 76 degree day 109 mph
13.05 on a 87 degree day 108.3 mph

Don't really race my L too often, but I used to have a '93 Cobra w/ an Eaton blower on it (
) . It's ET's and MPH's would be anywhere from 13.30's/105 in 90 degree heat, to 12.80's/110 in 50 degree, ummm, un-heat.
Summer DOES suck!

summer weather
I think barometric pressure and relative humidity have more to do with it than the actual temperature. Don't get me wrong , if it's 90 degrees and the sun is beating the track temp is well over 100, but when the air is real thick, your times will show it. I've held off the last two chances to go to the track just because i knew my times were gonna suck, even though i could use the practice launching. There are some other guys, especially the tuners that can explain this alot better. Maybe a search will bring up some info or if Sal or Jim or one of the guys want to take the time to explain it again.
