Just apllied another coat of CWW today.Took about an hour and looks great!
I bought it in a Qt. size for $15 shipped to my door.It goes a really long way, I've done the "L" twice and the wife's "Expy" once and still have 3/4 left.

I have used Zaino and Cherry Wet Wax. It may be a labor of love, but the most labor does not always equal the best results.

Cherry Wet Wax is 1/4 the effort and at least as good of a shine.

Signature picture depicts the Cherry Wet Wax shine... speaks for itself.

Wow masterloggie,

Do you use any other kind of precleaner or swirl remover or any other type of polish with that CWW? I hope my red L shines that good when I get it on.... Did you apply it with a buffer or by hand?

Another great detailing site. I use Cherry Wet and like it. If I can get it to look as good as Zaino in 1/4 the time, then that's for me. It's easy to use and their Miracle Mist is a good in between shiner.

I have read that it is a nightmare if you get the cherry wet wax on the black plastic trim. How do you prevent it, and what's good for removing the wax once it hits the plastic?

Aren't you a professional detailer? It seems like you've shared some good info in the past. I've done the CWW, Zaino and every other wax looking for the perfect shine nirvana. CWW durability sucks; that's okay if you wax often...like everytime you wash your car. My other concern with it is how much petroleum distillates are in the struff. I really don't know but I'm wouldn't be suprised if they make it smell like cherry to cover up that smell.

It does refract light pretty well which gives it that wet look. It is very easy to use. I used it on one of my wife's dark cars and the swirl hiding properties were average to less than average. Since you are in the biz I will send you a bottle since there is no way I'll use the gallon I have.

Send me an email if you are interested.

I have only clay barred the truck once... when it was new to get rid of the rail dust. SInce then polish is put on every 3 months. Thus far after 2 1/2 years I have only had to get light scracthes out twice. The truck is hand washed or touchless when not very dirty.

It is inherent, I think that the micro scratches get into the paint when hand washing. When I they get bad, most people would not notice, I use 3M hand glaze to get them out. Put it on and take it off with a buffer.

As I said before I wax the truck every 3 months with the CWW. If I used the 3M hand Glaze, I buff it off and then apply the CWW like Zaino in the long straght lines ( see Zaino's site). It is dry in no time and I take it off with a buffer .

I noticed after I hand washed the truck today, some micro scratches are there again because of all the rain and road grime I have encountered in my TDYs and trying to keep the truck clean. So tomorrow I will use the glaze and CCW.

LIGHTNINROD, Dan, sees my truck at least once a month and he can tell you if it always shines. Dan and I both use the product and the mist too for a quick cleaning ... mainly bugs. I have been known to use the mist on the whole truck at times.

Hope I answered all the questions and concerns. If it is bad for my paint, well after 2 years ( used Zain's the first six months) of the CCW (2.5 years old now). It still has a great shine that is better than when it was new.

Ron

NeedFourSpeed, It won't let me send you an email through the board.

You can send me one at 1337h4xor@***.net

I never really looked into CWW. I've just be using ProWax's Miracle Wax as my cleaner wax but it is somewhat difficult to buff off. It does a nice job at removing light swirls though.
