ATTN: Mac exhaust...help?

just got my Mac in yesterday...two questions?:

MADHOUSE and Other Mac installers: if you see this....u said u had some trouble gettin the old exhaust off and the Mac doesnt' quite line up somethin bout cutting the bolt, etc.....i have but a small toolbox and just little old me installin...anyone else have these probs and are these simple probs i can get through or am i in for a nightmare....only installed one other exhaust...(borla cat back on a 2000 Trans am...fit like a glove...just had to cut the stock pipe to get it off, but got through it fine)

next question....always heard the warning..give a new vehicle "break in time" before you get on it real hard or do too much work on it....

any truth in this....my L is 02...new with only 550 miles on it...i doubt if exhaust will fall in this but other mods might?

Thumbs up

With any custom setup you have to expect to break it in first before getting too hard on her. Drive her at variouse speeds and revs but dont WOT a lot untill the sound is clean and even sounding. Usually takes a few weeks. Youll see what I mean when you first finish her, she will sound choppy sorta speak. I always break my trucks in at 5,000 miles or so..thats a good safe mileage to start cranking her hard
