Single Blade Throttle Body Question

With the a s/b throttle body (Accufab for example), what kind of improvement are you guys seeing in throttle response? Will it give me whiplash?

I rode in a co-worker's '02 M3 and he was demonstrating the difference between sport mode "on" and sport mode "off". I had trouble keeping my head off the head rest because of the throttle response/acceleration. Hence the TB question.

Besides the s/b throttle body, what mod can give a hair trigger response when I step on the gas?

BTW, SOTP says the M3 is fast. His time slips say 13.2 in the quarter with stock engine/suspension/tires. My L is outclassed in the twisties but mods can even the score in the straights. Quite impressive - but for 55K, it'd better be.

A properly tuned chip, a Fast Air kit, and a bigger lower s/c pulley will be very helpful
