Anyone replaced the throttle cable ?

Anyone replaced the throttle cable ?

Any tips?

I snapped mine last night "testing" the new mods

I picked one up from Ford today and am about to install...any insight ?

I 'sprayed' some dry graphite on mine last week--good insurance against 'binding'. Look for it at most auto parts stores.

Took about 20-25 minutes...most of that was done l;ooking at things. Hardest part is removing the old cable...made much easier by cutting the plastic pieces off so it will slide through the firewall and the retainer bracket.

Took about 2 minutes to install the new cable once the old one was out.

Ford wanted $98 installed for this....part was only $34 bucks...saved $60...shoot...that's more mod money
