Talking the question no one wants to ask. What's it going to take to beat an 03 Cobra?
What are the Cobras running at the track and what mods are needed to get an L to run that quick? I'd like to surprise a few once they come around the area

L guys, Cobras are beautiful but don't give up on your L!!!!

Go drive and 03 cobra and you will be saying F the lightning , you will be kissing your wifes *** to let you buy one while you stroke the brochure.

Already have and as for the wife, even if I did have one, there would be no permission needed to buy one

I couldn't give up the Lightning for one, but additionally it would be great!

Tons of fast Cobra's and Mustangs out there, but it's still a challenge to make a fast truck.

Stock Cobra's are beatable... but those cobra's are going to be as easy to mod as the L's... a few key mods and you better worry about beating vipers before a modded cobra...

Someone will have to come out with a custom crank pulley adapter and blower snout extender to increase the boost more than a couple pounds since the blower runs off the accessory drive belt.

Cobras are beautiful? They are definitely fast...but man are 99+ stangs fugly.

Actually, the belt closest to the engine drives all the accessories except the alternator. The Cobra will need a smaller alt. pulley if you don't want to over drive it with a larger blower crank pulley. The challenge for the crank pulley will be clearing the idler pulley which is VERY close to it. The upper blower pullies will be in the same situation they are with the Lightning except they start out larger.
