I'm looking at the YANK converter with 2400 stall $950 single plate
and the PI 2400 stall with triple plate $995. Is one of these better than the other? It seems most with converters have gone with one of these two. Advantages? Disadvantages?

 

In theory the 3 plate should be more durable. They have a friction type clutch plate inside, so essentially the 3 plate will have more surface area.
