Questions on electric fan and cobra water pump part #'s
I saw using the search feature that the cobra r water pump could be had for near 50$ but I couldn't find a part # for it. Best place to go the dealership or someone have another suggestion?
Also, on the electric fan issue, has anyone tried just using the standard lincoln MK8 fan? I have one but was going to save time with trying if theres a specific reason why it will not work? If its mounting depth would it fit after having the shroud shaved down some? (Common practice on Supercharged fox bodies)
If thats not possible for some other reason (again, I haven't looked) wheres the best place to get the 4.6L 2 speed fan. Off course, if all I am going to do is cut the fan center out of the shroud, I can get the lincoln mk8 fan for 99$ shipped and do it to that (looks almost the same, but would have to go compare)
I would buy the JDM kit but IMHO the price is way to high for what it is and I feel that the gap between the fan and the shroud is an oversight that I would have to be fix anyway. (I.e. it will pull back air instead of pulling air through radiator---> path of least resistance)
A few other questions, anyone on here into the EEC Tuner or Tweecer scene and know what the status is for their use on the lightning processors?
Also, on a side project of mine to artificially cool the incoming air, I was wondering if anyone here would share specifics with what their lightning puts to the ground (either dyno wise or MPH wise) with different air temperatures to see if its worthwhile or not.
Thanks!

Wow nice thread! Thanks for sending it to me.
Half the battle with the search button is coming up with the right keyword to get what you want. Somehow I overlooked the obvious

When using fordpartsonline.com, leave out the dashes in your part number search.
I just verified the search and this is what I got:
They have the pan for $28.41 and the filter for $19.37. I called and ordered mine a few months ago. Great bunch of people to work with.
