JLincoln,
Hey how are you? Do your truk-traks work with a lowerd L?? Im asking since the Ranchos won't work with mines and yours also seem to have more of a personal touch to them. Let me know.

Yep they will work. I have a set on lowered Lightning and love them. I also had rancho style bars that I had to sell when I lowered mine.
On a side note, I had dinner and beers with Jay Lincoln last night in Mooresville North Carolina.
He was flying out of here for home this morning. He might be home by now.

I see where you have the belltech 2/3 drop. You might want to speak with ICULOKN about how the bars worked for him. They ARE extremely well made. Top quality. I'm still sad that I have to sell mine. Also, try shooting jay an e-mail
at JayLincolnCobra@aol.com or call. Here's his website if you haven't seen it already.

Jesse, sorry for the delay. I just pulled in fron a business trip to NC. What type of lowering kit are you using?
I've done Truck-Traks traction bars for several different drop kits. I can do the Hotchkis and Roush suspensions. These springs require special adaptors, which I have to machine. They run a few extra $$. The Hotchkis suspensions have a tendency to get pretty stiff when you add traction bars.
They also work well with the 2/3 Belltech. There are several trucks running that combination now. They fit right on, and work like a stock suspension truck.
They are available from Sal at PSP.

Marcus, long time no see. Why do you want to sell your set? Are you selling your truck?

Jay,
Yea Im using the Belltech 2/3 drop but might raise the rear alittle more so it should work then. So for the Belltech will I need any special adaptors or would they fit straight from the box? Thanks in advance.

Jesse, they will fit right out of the box. Tim (chickenears) has a set on his truck. He bolted them right on.
BTW, Tim it was great having beers and dinner with you. If you ever get to the west coast, look me up.

They will work just like Jay said. I have the same drop kit as you and I've never been happier with a mod. You will not need any adaptors or anything. I have 1 1/4 inches of clearance between the snubbers and the springs, just what is recommended. First class!
You won't even know they are there until you kick it and then you'll feel the truck raise up a bit as opposed to squatting. They NEVER make a single noise of any kind.

Jay,
Same here bud, I enjoyed the dinner and chat. I hope we can do it again.

I'll just tag onto the end of this thread...
Jay, have you had anyone with the SoCal Speedshop 2/3 suspension kit use your Truck-Traks?
I've been contemplating having this setup done, and I believe they change out one stock leaf spring with a more-arched, but same length, Add-A-Leaf to supposedly maintain the stock payload rating.
Thanks!

Jason, they have a set of Turck-Traks over there for testing. I don't think that they have done a Lightning in quite a while, so I don't have any feedback. Their rear springs look an awful like the Roush setup. It may take a 3/4" spacer to to maintain the proper snubber to speing distance. The other option is to go to a shorter snubber, and bolt them on.
Check with Aaron at So Cal. He's the one that I have been working with.
