Could someone tell me what the cost on the cobra is,or round about considering the dealer will mark it up 300%.Thanks

 

35K + taxes for a coupe here in West TX.

 

MSRP is $33.7k for a coupe, $38k and some change for a ragtop.

 

Cobra convert $37,370.00 plus $1000.00 Gas Guzzler Tax and then $625.00 for Destination & Delivery for a Total MSRP of 38,995.00.

Yeah the lady sitting in that Cobra looks a little confused. She must be thinking "what is this boost thingy here for?". "And where are the vanity mirrors?"

 

What steered me away from purchasing a 03 were 2 things. Increase in insurance costs and durability. The motor may stay together just fine, but i personally think that IRS will get blown to pieces with Slicks and definately spin a half shaft or two on DR's.

Looking at the dyno's of these cars, see that flat torque curve? Thats going to pay hell on traction. I chose the truck.
