2003 Chevy SS pics and specs released
Has anyone here actually driven a Silverado? If you compared a Silverado to a regular F150, the Silverado rides nicer, accelerates better, seems over all more sturdy...
I think the SS looks nice, though I wish they kept the old grille...

Every gm I've ever driven over almost 40 yrs. now has had a clunk in the front when turning to lock, either way. And talk about tire scrubbing!
345 hp? Thats less power than you L guys and I bet that thing is heavier..hmmm, I'm still waitin on that SRT to come out, my buddy works at dodge city warren truck assembly and they are supposed to start sellin them in 2003

chevy smokes rocks
Geez, I did some work with "GM creative services" (yeah i know..) at the last car and truck show here in tampa. They didnt have one there but they had a touch screen setup for previewing the new designs. They had that thing rated at 450 hp and it looked soooooo much better than that pic does. The proto-types always look way better though. They had blue flames on a blue one and it did look pimp i must say. The front end was different on the one I saw though, and I dont think it was a ext.cab either. It would be worlds better if they didnt paint those little ports in the front gray. I love how they skimp down the production models after they hype you up with the concept one.
GM yet releases another ho-hum vehicle. Don't they ever get it? This vehicle will not be competition for us and GM has yet disappointed us again. It just doesn't have enough power for it's weight, and once it get's off the line, it's bye bye for the SS.............
Hey Dude! If thats your bag,go buy one! I'm not in to 4x4's.I'm into performance.I had a 98'Chevy short-box with a 406H.P. TPI/350 LT1.Take a look below at what I'm drivin' these days! You never see it on a Chevy or Dodge board I asure you!
