first ticket in the L today

sorry, gusy ,,, had to happen some time,, went to 50's mcdonalads car show today at around 11:30 when i was leaving i overheard someone else say I've heard L's can't peal em so well, then my passenger told me to spin them,,, too much peer pressure I guess,,, feels way too good to spin the wheals. Anyways,, talked to the cop and he was a nice understanding cop, it was my first time to a car show in a while and it felt good to be there, after talking to him i'll glady pay the ticket for excessive noise "wheal spin" ,,, which is a non point ticket,,, feels like crap to have to fork over money which could be spent elsewhere, but the cop was just doing his job, I could tell he didn't want to give out tickets to all the nice cars, but too many neighbors of mcdonalds, and houses near by probably call the cops about the noise every night,, the guy had to do something ya know.

Thanks for hearing my horror,, especially after just yesterday with the HAIL damage to my truck,, someone please help on that,,,, ticket plus hail damage +++ ouch,,,, lots of money that I would have rather have spent on making silver the fastest color.

Leadfoot,

If you need it, there is a silver hood in the classifieds. Ad number 12931 and is in Livonia Michigan.

Toast......I am dissappointed in you. Especially after giving me such a hard time about my "Sudden Acceleration" ticket.

Hey Toast,

That's what you have comprehensive auto insurance for, the hail damage is covered under your comprehensive, so the only thing you should have to pay is maybe a deductible, and under comprehensive coverage maybe not even that, dependign on your policy.

We has a HUGE hail storm that hit much of Southwestern Virginia back in '96 or '97, so big that car dealers for hundreds of miles had thousands of vehicles damaged on their lots, and body shops here and in nearby areas of West Virginia were swamped forever. I got caught in it while driving, and got about $4K damage to the vehicle, all of which was paid by by our insurance company inlcuding rental car, no out of pocket expense at all for us.

Glad the ticket was an easy one, no reckless driving, etc., sounds like you had a very nice officer involved.

Good luck!

Thanks Mike T,,, I never have a prblem paying tickets,, you just want to find a way to kick yourself in the head cause you got one. Feels dumb when you take such good care of your truck, I wont even race in it except for at the track,,, now sudden acceleration,, that I do all the time,, only when people like cops are not around though :P
