For the people who paid to have your cat back installed (Silver-Bullit....Bassani....Borla...etc) What was the labor charge?? I've been quoted $140 for labor......seems steep to me. But then again, anybody have opinions. Yea I know everybody's got opinions, but I mean an opinion on the labor charge.

Depends on the customer and the part of the country you're in, usually. Anywhere from $75.00 to $100.00. The guy that has done my last 2 (Borla and Silver Bullet)has taken a liking to the L and put them both on for free. Of course, he butchered the flowmasters that he put on for me and I didn't lower the boom on him. I guess he really appreciated it.

Cool

My muffler guy always charged me $20 but i always gave him $40 because i thought his time was worth more than that.I have switched catbacks alot of times between my 2 lightnings and it only took him 30-45min each time so i would get another quote from a muffler shop.

You can get a cheaper quote if you don't use a national chain, also.

That guy on Main in Grand Prairie is the greatest. He has put the spintechs on ***** mine and my brothers 2001 Mustang GT's as well as fixing the nightmare that is the spintech catback on my "L" and cheap too!

Thanks for the replys. My thinking was that $140 was a lot overboard. Iam willing to pay $70 to $100. For $140, I'll climb under mt truck myself
