I have the long bed and went with a 30 gallon tank. My low fuel light usually goes of at about 5 gallons left. I think the furthest I ever pushed it I put 28 gallons in the tank.

P.S. I have noticed a difference in my milage on the times I filled up from half a tank....Always gets lower milage. That extra weight does make a difference.

The most I ever put back was 22.05 gallons. I was low enough to be worried but apparently I had plenty left. Kind of makes me wish we still had dual tanks. If you always alternated tanks and filled up after it was empty you never would run out.
