Question Warranty question

Here's the deal. I have 00 lighting with 2k on it. I have a lot of break squeal, a BIG clunk noise from hard turns parking, wiper motor recall(that I called dealership about), and Intercooler recall(which they say they don't see recalled for my car). I thought all 99 and 00 had the intercooler prob. My question is...will the dealership fix all the aforementioned problems under warranty. Any input fellas? Thanks
Tim

Why would the clunk come back? I hear it's only a couple washers that need to be added. Thanks.

The new toothed washers are a temporary fix from what I have read. You need the Herb Washers.

Do a search for them.

I had the intercooler, clunk, and a few other things done in May with 17k and 1 month left on the warranty on my '99. Itemized cost was over $1300, but paid 0.

Give them the VIN # and run it thru OASIS to check what items need to be done. Mine only showed the intercooler on it. if yours is an '00, it should need the new intercooler. They should fix all of that stuff. If not, call SVT or find a better SVT dealer.

I'm a warranty administrator, not currently for Ford. And everything you have stated above should be covered. Every vehicle that is under warranty should have an OASIS pulled everytime it is brought into the shop regardless of a warrantable item performed or basic maintenance.
The only exception would be the brakes, they will probably try to say that it's due to wear. Brakes fall under the 12/12 warranty, UNLESS, the rotors or calipers caused the wear. When they check the rotors ask for the lateral runout specs. That alone may make them "check" it a bit further.

Hi Ogie,

The Ford dealer has to do the OASIS search for you, they just plug in your vehicle's VIN, so you'll do that at the dealership.

Ogie.....

The lateral runout spec is the measurement of the rotors.
