I dont recall hearing about any blown chargers,, I do remember reading about a dual supercharger setup,, which would technically be a blown supercharger. Some I believe have the coating on their roters flaking off. RTKIlla for example had that problem.

The only failures I've heard of were people messing up the snout removing/installing a pulley, except for the teflon flaking of course.

Which brings up the question, does the teflon coating need to be reapplied every so often? This has been on my mind for a while. Seems like the coating helps provide the close sealing tolerances. So if it comes off, boost probably is lower. Anyone have any input to this??

i know they make a new style of rotor with the only difference being different coating which wont flake off.

I have heard about a new coating for the rotors that is well sort of rough and this is supposed to help it 'grab' more air and give a tad more boost, I hear about 1#. This is all rumor type stuff though...
