Question Stop screw on TB linkage

Does anyone know what the curb idle on our engines should be with the IAC discounted? I'm thinking 500. I'm trying to get the idle air control valve in range so I need to adjust the stop set screw on the throttlebody.. I'm thinking if I disconnect the IAC and adjust the engine rpm in neutral to 500 rpms when I reconnect the IAC everything will be fine. I'll of course recheck the voltage on the TPS. Thanks for any input. Jeff

Jeff:

I'm not sure, but that sounds correct. In Drive with the brake applied, I get an idle rpm of about 625-650(see sig for mods), so 500+- sounds about right.

Thanks Dan I'll try that. I'm getting so weird stuff happening on decel after the new TB install. Feels like the motor is dragging and not just coasting when you let off the gas. Also if I'm coming to a stop and I put the tranny in neutral the engine will sometimes die. Maybe the pcm has a little learning to do with this honed spacer and new TB..
