Lightning Grounded

Yes..I am no longer floating along in a Windstar. The Motor is back in the truck and I feel like a new old man. hopefully Sal reburnt my chipi today and I can install the pulley. While two of the Denso plugs from the old motor have no electrode the rest still look OK. Any thoughts on sticking these 6 back in and buyin` 2 new ones. They only have 10000 miles on them. I had the pulley on for about 12000 before it ate the plugs. Onward thru the fog.

Don't scrimp on plugs! You d/k if there are internal cracks or fractures that will lead to misfires, etc. I won't even put a new one in an eng. if it's been dropped. Plus, the electrodes after 10,000 miles, are worn smooth to some degree and good firing requires 'sharp edges'

Btw, some L racers are replacing the coil packs every 10-15,000(?) miles along with their plugs. I'm not saying(I d/k?) to do this--just FYI.
