Coming home from work tonight and look in the rear view. I see this "mass" cutting everyone off from behind and driving like shi# to catch up to me. Come to a red light and it is a new Cadilac Eslowade with 24's. In the driver seat is a look a like version on "Vanilla Ice" and 'Puff daddy" in the passenger. While the light stays red "Puff daddy" says to me is that a Ford Sparkler? Vanilla begins to laugh, I respond " Didn't your mother tell you not to play with sparklers". Puffy did not like that. 5 seconds later the light turns green. Had a perfect launch. 8 seconds later it was all over. Puffy and Ice were 6-8 car lengths behind. I looked back and they moved fom the right center lane over to the left lane and made a U turn as we approached another red light. Guess they were going to cut another rap record...

LOL Wouldn't you know it..........Just the other day I had a new Caddy Escapade try to take on the L. I was mindin my own business going home. They pull out of McD's and take the inside lane. They looked like college boys. They had windows down, and the passenger was glaring at the bright red L. I had windows up and A/C on. They jumped on the gas. Needless to say.......Well, you know.

The 02 Escalades with say 23's is a very sweet ride. Check out the 02 AI Design Escalade at www.aidesign.com and they also make a $144,995.00 02 "No Limits" Tahoe. Just amagine spending 145G's on a Tahoe, I thought 41g's was bad enough.

Ford Sparkler? What the hell did he mean by that? Only someone dumb enough to say that would be dumb enough to try and race you in a escalade. Don't get me wrong they are beautiful SUV's, but did he really think he had a chance in a race against a L? He must of not known what a Lightning is. Well, he knows now.

I'm sorry, but call me old school. When I think of new Cadillac, I think of retired people driving them at 90 mph. Most of the ones that I have seen on the highways drive like they bought the road along with the car. (no disrepect to any retired Caddy owners that drive good)

I reailze that beauty is in the eye of the beholder........but, my opinion of the new ones :

The styling borders on the Aztec, Vibe, Rendezvous, & I'm sure a few others. The new EXT looks like an Avalanche with a Cad frontend. I just think they are all butt ugly.

I'm just not into the snowplow, locomotive cow-catcher lookin frontends, on new automobiles. I like that look on what they originally came on (trains & snowplows).

No way!! I can't believe you are bad mouthing Cadillac's obviously you don't own one, or you have never driven one. I can't speak for the EXT but all of the other late model Cadillac cars are beautiful. Sorry I don't even want to waste my time, but I have to say you don't know what you're talking about. I can speak from experience Cadillac's are a hell of a lot nicer than any Ford I've driven, and I'm a die hard Ford guy.
