First L Video done!

Heres the deal.
The video is done but there is a few things. 1) the sound in a few of the clips is off and 2) its pretty damn big. Right now I have it zipped and split into 5 files. 4 of them are 10 megs and the the 5th is about 7.5 megs. Does anyone have anywhere I can host the video. If you want it email me and I can send you the seperate files. The reason I said "First L Video" is because this one could be better and Im goin to work on it for the next few days and see if I can make it better

I think he has a T1 at home. He might host it for you.

I said I'd host it... my server sits on a redundant set of 3 oc-48's...(one oc-48 is about 1600 T-1's put together) can't ask for much more than that.... 2.488Gigabit... faster than almost all LAN's...

Beefcake2002L,
How do you manage to sit on a network with that kind of bandwidth? Just wondering because the last place I worked was a huge bank and they had 3 OC-48's running to the facility I was working in. This was the way their internet banking was done. I just know the type of money it takes to support those kind of front end connections, not doubting you just wondering.

I borrow server space from a comapny listed in fortune magazine... it's not my personal server...or bandwidth

btw, I believe oc-48's go for 300k/mo so, yes, it's a lot of money... there are many other sites/business that travel on those lines also, but... there is still plently of bandwidth... it's always the remote end that is the bottleneck... usually the local ISP's don't have that much.. some of the larger one's will have maybe 1 oc-48...

there you have it...

Beefcake2002L,
I see according to your profile you are an I/T manager, what do you do exactly? I may be moving to Kenosha here in the next 2 weeks, maybe we could meet up or something. Shoot me an email at jacobow@us.ibm.com Oh yeah, I am a network engineer in case I forgot to mention that earlier. Later.
