When The Temps Get Over 105
When it gets this hot out my tranny seems to have a whining sound to it. I can start off in the morning and by afternoon have a different sound. Anyone else notice this or is it my imagination. I think its crying for a nice cool glass of lemonade or something.
It get's that hot here on middle Ga. too--eggs over light--on the asphalt
!
Not sure if this will solve/help you but I ordered 16 qts of Redline's D4 Synthetic trans. fluid and had a locally-owned quik-lube(Autobahn--in Macon) pump the OEM fluid out while pumping the D4 in. A Redline tech said this was the proper fluid(they have 2 or 3?) for our trans. Being synthetic, it has properties that help the trans work better in both hot and cold climents.
