I'm gonna have to get me one of those sonic blue ones. I wonder what the rims are gonna look like. Does anyone know when we can order one of these, I want to be one of the first ones on the list.

NO MORE TRUE BLUE???

It's gonna be the rarest, most valuable color......DAMN ME for not waiting......UGH!!!!

Some Manley rods would be nice wouldn't they???? Ford doesn't realize it would be cheaper for them to build the trucks with the stroger rods instead of without, and later having to replace entire heads, engines, etc. 2 WORDS...............DUMB A$$ES!!! No wonder they lost 5.4 BILLION DOLLARS last year, and are up close to a BILLION this year!! Lack of foresight, and of course, the ever popular lack of common sense!!

Well, Sonic Blue will be cool..............Hey Richard, bet you don't feel so "unique" anymore!! Oh well, at least you'll still be the first.

Glad I got my 02' and glad I got it at the end of the year, one of the last production runs, now not only do I own the best color, Silver, I don't feel bad for not waiting for the 03' since I am going to buy 20's anyway and the rest of the stuff I can upgrade for about 250 dollars.

Fierce competition from the Dodge that needs 10 cylinders to produce 500 HP, give me the extra 15000 and I will put my Lightning over that....what a crock, oh yeah, and its fugly.

Good thing they upped the payload capacity by 600lb. I don't know what I did with my 380hp truck before I could haul 1400lb of manure in the bed. Only being able to haul a small block and a motorcycle at the same time just didn't cut it!

Seriously, I appreciate the increase in payload, but I don't see the point. Anybody regularly hauling 1300lb in their bed should be looking at a different kind of truck, IMO.

If they increased the payload without increasing the suspension travel, it probably means they used stiffer rear springs. Anybody here thinks the rear of their L rides too soft? How much bump steer will the new chassis have?

There wasn't anything on that laundry list that I consider an upgrade. I am GLAD I bought a silver 02!

I'm curious to see what the sonic blue will look like on a full size truck. I really like it on the Focus and Mustang. I don't see the reasoning behind the payload increase either, but I'm sure SVT had a reason for doing it. The 6 disc in dash is a good change, if they only added the MP3 option also.
