Question Nitrous

For starters this is my first post and i have a 2002 L. My current mods include a chip and a JDM cold air kit. My question is what would be better a wet or a dry kit? Logic tells me wet, I'm looking for input of someone with some experience. Also what spark plugs Denso or NGK. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm no expert on nitrous, but I can direct you to some who is. Call Sal at PSP. His website is http://www.powersurgeperformance.com you should be able to get some info off of there, and if you have any Q's just call him.

I would contact Sal as well. JDM is doing more & more trucks with NOS but Sal has been doing it for along time. Either way is a winner.... I run PSP products but the JDM line is top notch as well...

Well Im no expert either but have some experience with N2O.I run a wet kit.I tap it in the fuel rail on the passenger side of the motor. There are some poeple that run a dry kit,and have good luck with it.I would rather run a little rich, than worring about it running lean.I also use NGKtr-6.This combo works well for me.Hope this helps.P.S.If you run Nitrous dont forget to get your chip set up for it...

What's up? I didn't know you got you a Lightning! Man all you Haleyville folk are following in my footsteps! How long have you had your truck? Chikin1 has done a good bit of nitrous work on his truck. He is a Decatur man here on the forum, very sharp on the various setups. If I am not mistaken..his best 1/8 now is a 7:40. We have been trying to plan a get together soon at a track near you. Send me an email to work sometime, so I can have your email. jguy@secoperformance.com

I would say you need to stay with a wet kit. As far as plugs go, I would us NGK BR7's. I dont like extended tip plugs in nitrous applications.

As far as a tune up goes get that from your chip tuner. That way they can take into acount the curves that they have programmed in their chip

just my 2 cents
