Hook-up was not too bad.Pretty straight forward. The sending unit for Water temp is an allen head plug just above your oil filter. You want to do this one when the engine is cool as you will get a minimal amount of leakage.
Trans temp was REALLY easy. There is a small plug just above the trans pan on the driver's side near the wiring harness. No laekage on this one!
The EGT was a little more complicated.I took the truck to a local muffler shop I have used before. They told me "about $20"."They do Pyrometers on race cars all the time".Once they got the truck on the lift the story changed! There is NO way to get a drill/Torch/welder up under the manifold close enough to head to get an accurate reading. They told me to remove the manifold and bring it in and they'd stick to the estimate.Or I could have them remove it install the "bung" and wire it up for an extra $50.I paid the extra $50 and from what the Mechanics tell me it's WELL WORTH IT!!
Let me know if you need any more help!-Dave.
