I installed a headlight flasher and a strobe set up lastnight. After my last racing ticket I vowed not to buy anymore "go fast" mods to keep me from being tempted to rape the other cars around here. It might be ricey, but lord is it ever fun to run up on underage parties, "everyone leave, the party is over, but leave the coolers and beer."

unfortunately no, my digi cam is too big of a POS for good quality night shots. But the flashes are extremely bright because I bought the units that government agencies use. Each bulb recieves 60watts.
now all you need is a PA system and your all set (until the whippersnappers realize you aint Five-0 and take it out on you or your truck)
butt connectors suck butt
Actually the way I connect wires and tape them is stronger then when I use the connectors. But, when I do use butt connectors I always use non insolated ones and tape over them because the insolation is a bitch to crimp through and the tape just holds the wires together better.

Hey Evil,
Be careful with those things. My buddy had them in his Trans am and did the same thing your talking about but we were leaving the party and guess who was just about to rush the party? About four cars full of our friends in blue. He got arrested and spent the night in jail and charged with impursinating a police officer. They dropped the charges on the grounds that he have the light kit PROFESSIONALLY removed and turn the lights and the reciept that stated they were removed over to the police officer that arrested him. I had them in my other car and removed them the next day. Ill be damned I go to jail for some flashing lights. Been there for just about everything else and everytime I say Im never going back. Thats one dum as reason to be sitting in jail.
And whats the deal with the fuse block up front like that. If you blow fuses that much that its easier to just put it there then somethings wrong with the install or the equiptment. Not to be ragging on ya but like clone said. Electric Tape + open end wire = FIRE. One of them sharp little wires that always poke your finger and makes you bleed will go threw that tape like nothing. Let that wire bump the CPU your be useing them strobes as Hazard lights on the side of the road. I used to Install for 3yrs at Dream Car South in Miami and Ive got a degree in automotive Electronics. Ive seen some Fires. Not Pretty.

what would you reccomend? I don't use butt connectors because even though I crimp them twice on either end they still pull loose. When I do use the electrical tape I am always sure to push all the ends down with my fingers, then smoother over with a pair of pilers then when I do tape over them, I always put atleat 5 layers over the exposed wire. I chose to use the tape because it helps keep the wires from pulling loose.
Regarding the connection of the wires, you have two options that are better than butt-splices:
1. Solder the wires together by first tinning (coating the ends of the wires with solder) the wires and then bend each end of the wires back on themselves with one loop going through the other (like a chain). Then just solder those wires together, and cover with heat-shrink tubing or electrical tape.
2. Go to your local electrical supply store and purchase “solder sleeves” (the best ones are made by RayChem). Place the two ends of the wires next to each other in the solder sleeve (just like you would in a butt-splice), then heat with a heat-gun until the solder ring in the solder sleeve melts. That’s all there is to it, the solder sleeve shrinks around the wire, sealing each end with a ring of heat-activated sealant, and it also provides insulation.
I would recommend option 2, but either works well.
Hope that helps,
Dave
