Some pictures of the cruise on Saturday

On Saturday, Mike, who owns a True Blue 02 L, and I took a cruise through the North GA mountains and took some pictures. We had a lot of fun and I hope to get a large crowd next time we decide to go. Mike was able to get a good feel of the handling capabilities of his truck during the trip. We started here in Dahlonega and we headed north into Suches on hwy 60.

Here is a picture atop Woody Gap, which is before you get into Suches.

From Suches we got onto hwy 180 and stopped at Lake Winfield Scott.

From the lake, we proceeded to Wolfpen Gap. There were plenty of hairpin turns, S curves, as well as many bicycles. From 180, we turned onto hwy 129 at Vogel State Park and then onto 384. On 384, we stopped at the top of Black Mountain and took some really nice pictures. The temperature up there was right at 60 degrees with a good 20mph wind. Felt really good.

From there, we turned back onto 129 right above Cleveland, GA and stopped at a local restaraunt and then headed back to Dahlonega on hwy 19. We had a great time and will probably do it again sometime. I believe it would be awesome to have ten or twenty Lightnings tearing up the curves, so if any GA guys out there want to go, just let me know.

That is a pretty good view that you guys got in that one picture! I think that I might have you beat though in the picture that I took below.
