Problem with Belltech shackle

Hi guys
I just found out that my Lightning is not balenced. My rear shackle is 1" lower than other side 4"/5". They are Belltech shackles. The front springs are fine.

How can I fix this problem?Does this hurt the suspension?
Please I need some help!

Thanks guys

how much gas do you have in you tank. if its full, measure again when its empty. if its empty(or close to it) measure when its full. you will see a noticable difference. with an empty tank the left side should be noticeably higher. this is done on purpose to compensate for the gas tank.

Kuan-

Don't be alarmed if you notice subtle height differences from corner to corner or side to side. These vehicles have chassis weight jacking built into them to help balance their load distribution and handling characteristics. It is totally normal to see .5" or sometimes more difference in height depending on driver, fuel level, etc.

Another way to 'see' the weight distribution is to weigh each corner of your vehicle seperately and then weigh it as a whole and figure the percentage by corner. I believe Spike has done this (probably more than a few times. . .right Spike) and shown what the weight distribution/balance is on these trucks. It's always interesting to see how small modifications effect these numbers.

So the bottom line is. . .your truck is OK. But do continue to keep an eye on your suspension components (like you have been). Some people tend to 'bolt it on and forget it'.

Later,
