Painted and pre-fitted my new intake..pics

Here it is..The final piece will be somewhat different as I did this one to check fit and flow..My final one will taper down to the TB

ugh.. pull the front cap off and paint the engine compertment!
well, at least paint the hood hinges.

taking it off and painting it is the easy part... trying to wax it after its put back together is gonna be hard. lol

hmmmm......How about this, I'll do the engine compartment when I pull this motor to put in my new one, The hood hinges are ( spare set) are at the plater being chromed.

Hope all is well with you. Thank you for the compliments,as I stated earlier this is simply a fitment prototype. The finished piece will be tapered and contain a host of other small changes. I'll keep you posted as I continue to "play".

Here is a link to the manufacturer they should be able to direct you to a local dealer. I love the cover, I've had them on 3 of my trucks and to date, NO problems Plus it's a quick release type so if you had to haul something tall 2 people can remove it in about 30 seconds

Looks great on your truck, I see you've been pretty busy.
Smooth power pipe is very nice and made out of lightweight material, Cool


Can I get one in black with some Engine Ice too? LOL

Yes it is a direct replacement for the stock rubber connection boot.
