i have a stock 01 lightning which i'm just about to start modifiying.. i think i'm going to get a 3# or 4# lower pulley + a chip this weekend.. with that done, how much of a shot can i safely put on it.. i was thinking along the lines of 80 since i already am pumping up the boost some.. any suggestions would help..

I dont have any experience with nitrous but I would defiently not go over 100 shot. Be sure whoever you order your chip from knows that you plan on using nitrous. I personally would not go over 75 with a 4lber and a stock bottom end but thats just me...

 

i dont think its a good idea to run NOS and pulley,just to much for the bottom end,i am debating if i want a 4 pound pulley right now not sure if i even want to do that.

 

You can run Nitrous and a Pulley... But you will have to worry about rods and clutch packs in the trans. Here is what I would recomind for pulley and nitrous combo:

2# Pulley - 100 Shot Max
4# Pulley - 75 Shot Absolute Max
6# Pulley - 50 Shot Absolute Max

We have run a 2# pulley w/ a 125 shot for FFW Ennis last year, but only for the event and dont know the long term out come.

Nitrous & a 4lb pulley... Its a great thing.

I recomend a 50shot of gas for all of our trucks, just to cool the intake charge.

We run a 4lb pulley and a ??? shot (cant tell how much, freaks people out!!) & a progresive controller with good results so far. This is with the stock bottom end.

Make sure you get the nitrous tune up frome the chip tuner, that way they can tell you how to jet it based on the curves in thier chip
