Question Dumb question about billet grill!

Okay, I am sure this has been covered before but I have to ask. My truck is a 2001 "L". Are the grills different for 99-00 and the 01-02 models? I want to install polished billet upper and lowers and have been leaning towards Trenz. Which brand is easiest to install and fits the best? Thanks for the info!

Not 100% sure here, but the Carriage Works grill was for the 99-02 model range. The 01-02s have to trim the two bottom tabs on the grill surround to fit cleanly, but thats the only real change.

I have a '00L with Stull grilles and I also had to trim the same tabs.
