Not sure...I've never seen it, personally. There have been a few that were powdercoated, but that's all I know of.

How about the new 02 Harley grills? I've been considering them myself. I think they look great

I agree w/ Mondo on the Harley grills (nice), but you'd be SOL on the bottom grill for if you went that route. What color is your truck? I've seen a few L's w/ powder coated billets grills, or even a couple of painted stock grills that look good. I'm waiting for the day to see someone post a pic of their L with one of those funky flame grills

duh, just saw your name bet its Red :o

Last year I looked into chroming the '01 grill. I ended up having spoken to the two or three best chromers and I came away deciding not to do it. Though I forget the details, the problem was in the grill material and its flexibility.

Another idea was to pull off the Ford badge and have a straight factory grill by splicing in sections from a grill I'd buy used. I did a Photo Shop version and it looked great.

I lost interest but I still think it would look good.

I think ALL after market grills look like S$#T, and make the owners look like ricers, sorry, but true.

The only thing I'de consider is carbon fiber stock grills.

That's only your opinion and it seems like you are outnumbered by quite a bit. Thanks for calling our aftermarket grills ***** though

Trabuco,

That is an excellent idea! I bet it would look sweet.

I've been thinking of putting the black powder-coated billet grill on mines. Just havent seen any red L's with them yet. Plus it would make me a ricer..."rolling eyes"

Well. . .it's not chromed, it's metallic silver paint, but it looked chrome in person.

I always thought that chroming the stock grilles would be cool, and had planned on doing it to mine.
