Slicks Glue/Tar stuck to the paint.

Hasnt happened yet, but since mine is silver, I dont want that nasty BS on my paint. What do you guys use to take it off, thats safe for the paint.

WD-40 will loosen up the tar on your paint. They are both oil based and seems to make the tar come off real easy.

Hasn't happened yet? Mine has and it's silver also. I had one hell of a time getting it off (rubber from slicks), even had to scrape it off with a bondo spreader.

Then I Zaino'd the truck and the stuff won't even stick to it now. When I left the dragstrip last time, it was perfectly clean. I don't know about tar now, that's a different animal.

WD40. It also works for removing the adhesive from the back of dealer badges.
