Deleted posts???

Is it me, or is this board's moderator biased towards a certain tuner???

It use to be a more neutral board on here, I thought???

I've been around this board for a while, Threads get closed, but hardly ever deleted. I guess after 9/11/01 we needed a new policy

A few of my posts were deleted, but I don't know why... I wasn't falming anyone or anything... just honestly answering questions...

regardless, since it's his message board, he can do what he wants...

If you want an unmoderated board free-for-all, start up a message board of your own...Heck, I'll post on it...

The moderator is only human; and such is going to have some bias. However, I think the mods do an excellent job of keeping the peace around here. It's their board and their rules. This is not a government supported enterprise. You should view your use of this board as a priviledge. And BTW, I find it ironic that you, DL aka JL's answer to Joe Isuzu, call anybody biased. And just to make things clear. I'm sure that JL makes some fine products. It's you that I find funny, though.

Thumbs up

Do not blame Doug.
There is a policy in effect for deleting posts:

Every few hours Doug, while wearing a blindfold randomly selects a thread for deletion.

(However, there is a voice in the background saying,)
"Higher, no lower,...lower,...NOW! Delete Now!"

Edward, I'm sorry that your not happy with your tuner and other parts guys. If I like a product or not, I'll say so no matter who sells it. I say what I want to say about any of the tuners and parts guys, I am not a spokes person for any certain tuner. If you don't believe me, Call JL. I'm sure that most of the guys I have met from this board, NLOC, and SVT in person will vouch for that.

You attack me personally, Your funny, for taking this stuff to seriously. LOL

I'm actually keeping a total of how many threads I can get Doug to delete. Sick but fun...

When I'm having a slow week, I just post a picture of the custom dash kits that I do.
I guess now all I have to do is call Sal out and *Boom*, it's gone.

If you want an "almost" unmoderated Lightning site to hang out on,
check out http://www.******.com
Tell Rick(******) that I referred you. I don't get ***** for it, but what the heck.

Vendor flaming is encouraged and he's even got nudie pictures...

Time for some

Actually, on a more serious note, I was working on deducing an algorithm of the relational ratios on posts to deletions to tuner wars to the alignment of the plantes and current tidal cycles...

It came out like this:

This is becoming a good thread.

I think the deletion of post goes more like this.

In the voice of Homer Simpson: "Have Delete button, must use, can't control self anymore, must delete posts, um doughnuts!"

Doug and Steve have the exclusive right to delete any post any time without explaination. Most of the time they DO provide an explaination but that's at their discretion.

If I was moderator of a board I wouldn't have anywhere NEAR the tolerance that they have displayed. In other words, if a member questioned my authority and decisions, they might only do it one time and the next time they just might see Banned under their username.

It's like it was in school, if a student bucked the teacher he would be chastised or even expelled. We're grown ups here and should realize that this board is a service provided to us for free and we should respect that without questioning the moderator or owner.

Steve and Doug have enough to do without worrying about playing nurse maid to a bunch of rebellious kids that think they can dictate the rules.

This is my opinon and that's all I have to say about this matter.

Tim
