Well I had a blast going to the track for the 1st time! I need alote of practice on the lights. The track is a 1/8 mile track, I ran good on the right side but the left had no grip at least I couldn't get any.I ran times only since this was my 1st time, I got 5 runs in . The best of the 5 was a 8.893 the 2nd best run was a 8.993 then it went to he!! after that I had a reaction time of a 95 year old man, I ran 9.108 and a 9.150. Then if that wasn't bad enough on my last run I got stuck in the left lane and smoked the crap out of my tires. I got on it a little hard and after I finally got hooked up I ran an embarrasing 10.145. This was the 1st time I have ever done this so I guess I didn't do to bad. If my reaction times were a little better I could have ran pretty consistant times I think. So is this good for my first time out?

 

Then it was a successful night.I am sure you will go back and improve on everything else.

Did you go to Kanawha Valley? I go there often with some buddies, we should get together and head up on a Thursday afternoon, its test and tune, $7 all you can run til 8 or so, then some bracket racin'.

 

I went to Grandview up here in Beckley. I'd like to try the Kanawha track. Is it a good track? Grandview isn't the greatest track. Is there any Lightnings that run down there? There was a 01 red stock Lightning that was up here today he had been running for quite a few years so he had a better reaction time, but our times were about the same.He ran a 8.992 and thats when I ran a 8.993. His reaction time was.150 and mine was.293 his speed was 73.789 and mine was 74.600. If I would have had a better reaction time that would have matched him what time would I have ran? After today I'm ready to go when you are just let me know when and we will hook up and go. Later on man!

 

Your reaction times (r/t) do not have any affect on your elapsed times(et). Maybe I missed something, but I don't understand your second post??? Glad you had fun!

Sounds good to me guys. A buddy of mine (lowredL) usually heads to the track whenever I'm there, he goes alot. HI'O'-- my grandparents live in Grandview, gimme a holler next time you head up there, be a good chance for me to visit, lol. I've got a buddy that has a badass WS6, loves to run it, and I'd love to see some of you all lay the smack down on him. There's a guy I know in Cedar Grove that has a silver L all built up, but hasn't taken it to the track yet, it should be a terror. We should all cruise up to Kanawha City, they street race alot on Friday and Saturday nights around there. My AIM name is WAYSLOW L, IM me, we'll figure somethin' out.
