Question Question on taking tranny out

I'm putting my converter in my Ligntning today finally!! Got a 3000 stall ArtCarr.

Does anyone know how to remove the plastic clip that holds the shift cable to the tranny lever?

Tried a few things, but dont want to break it. I'm sure its something simple, but damn if I know how to get it off.

Thanks in advance,
Jason

Pull cable off lever, snap cable back on. Nothing tricky.

Pull the white plastic clip away and up from the trans. It is a little tricky to remove. When you reinstall put the shifter in N, and set the trans in N. Slide the clip from the top down. If you don't set it up in N you either won't start in park, park and nuetral, and have no reverse lights.
