I looked into getting a Lightning before I got my Lariat in '99.
There seemed to be one price for the Lightning around 27-29K don't recall exactly. Some dealers wanted a premium over this.
The loaded Lariat closest to the Lightning was MSRP about $24500 but, no one would pay more than the invoice of around $22500.
So, the real world difference for me was $4500 to $6500.
With a mean of $5500.
Sorry, that's as close as I can tell. Wouldn't know the exact amount unless I bought both trucks.
