I have the 6 disc in dash, along with a JL W4 sub w/Alpine amp. Sounds pretty good, but now I have much better bass response than mid or high. I want to upgrade the other speakers in this thing, yet keep the stock head unit. Anyone have suggestions on some good setups here?

Also planning on XM radio soonly, leaning toward the Pioneer receiver and Terk through glass antenna... haven't seen too many complaints on either yet.

I have Focals in the doors and they are really great.. if you are going to move out the 6 disc in dash.. let me know if you want to sell it.. does it really hold 6 discs in the dash or is it the same as the rest of the L with the cd player behind the seat?

 

I plan to keep the in dash 6 disc, I had changed to it so I could get rid of the separate one behind the seat (thats where my sub and amp live now)

I bought a set of the Pioneer 6 by 8s today, their TS-A6867 3 ways. Right now I have them in the front, so I can hear the difference in sound. I have an amp I might install, if so the Pioneers will migrate to the back spots and I will get some components for the front... the sound is better, but like speed mods, audio ones are addictive...
