I hate this question,

"What are your monthly payments?"

No kidding... the 2 most common comments are "How much did it cost" and "where did you get those tailights"

Try to find onlookers who have IQ's that are greater than the ambient temperature.

Well, Daaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh!

Is it fast?

That's the one I get. Seems every high school male in the known universe (with any testosterone flowing) knows what a Lightning is. Must be "The Fast and the Furious" syndrome. Not many in my neck of the woods (Rochester, MN), and the looks of awe on the kids faces are priceless. Probably followed by: "What's that old fart doing driving a Lightning?"

I have something similar, although slightly off topic.

I just got home from LBI, for anyone familiar with the tri-state, and one night while I was there two guys were talking about the truck while I was in the store. When I returned I asked em what was up, and the one guy looked me dead in the face and asked what the difference was between my truck, and a lightning. Then he actually expected me to get tires on the boulevard, where there are cops every other block. Oh well...

I have some relatives and friends that think my Lightning is just a regular truck that I would throw a load of gravel in the back on the weekend. I usually just walk around back, open the tailgate, show them the Bedrug, and ask if they have anymore questions. If the carpet bedliner doesn't clue them in I show them the suede seats.
The only thing that is going in the back of this truck is a suitcase!

The question I seem to get the most is:

"Why didn't you get the straight bed?"
