NOS jet question

I bought a new NOS kit for my truck...i also purchased the pack of jets....but I was wondering how I tell what the amount of horsepower for each jet is. All I see on the side of the jet is a little number but i dont know what it stands for. Does anyone know maybe where a guide is that tells what each number stands for....or is their a key to reading the numbers to tell you what each jet increases the horsepower by.

Thanks

Shane

I bet you get a bunch of different answers to that one.

Who's chip are you running, does it have a nitrous program? & how much HP do you want to put in it with the NOS. Is the NOS kit a "wet" or "dry" system?

What are the jet numbers that came with the kit?

I know that with my JDM chip I put in alot more fuel then what Sal has folks do with his. ( 1badtk & I compared notes)
But I think that has to do with the amount of fuel & timming on the chip. You also have to take into account the other mods on the truck

The safe way is to check with your chip tuner and have them give you a tune up.

Unless you have a good background with nitrous, experimenting can be a costly!! But if you are careful, the results are really good
