Spike, you have to come down! I have learned more from your posts than just about anyone else in these parts. Our tastes in setup and approaches to vehicle design seem very similar. Would love to buy you a cup of coffee--or adult beverage of your choice

as for myself, I am not sure what time/day I'm going as of yet - having company this weekend...will know more as the day approaches.

There isn't much info regarding the road course event this weekend on the California Speedway web site. Maybe I'm wrong, but I think this thread is discussing two different items: Drag racing and running the road course. If you're planning on attending the track event, tech inspection is between 7 am and 8:15 am. I don't have all the info, so if it's like any other event, there will be a mandatory driver/safety meeting following tech, so if you miss either, you'll only be a bystander for the day.
