Question Forged Internals, Long Tubes or Converter.....

I'm almost done saving up for a big mod, but what will give me the most power out of the 3 listed. And how much for the install on all of those be, I really don't want to touch any of them with a 10 foot pole.

I would build up the engine if you plan on keeping it and want to go faster. Probably around $5K.

The long tubes will be cheapest of the 3. Suck it up and install them yourself. It will be some downtime for the truck, but it's possible to do yourself and not spend money to have someone install it.

If you get the torque converter you may just want to get the monster box tranny with it is as well (if you plan on getting it). Better to have the 2 installed at once.

As far as the engine build what are you talking about? It can be from ove $1k for a basic to over $5k depending on what you want. New rods, headgasket, pistons, port and polish on the heads?

Yeah, I guess I could do the Long tubes myself....what's the "monster box tranny" never heard of it, please explain

And for the internal, I was going to get the PSP total package...and I wanted to know how much that would run to install. My future plans are to run a 6#lower with a 75 shot of the juice, will that hold up to that? Or will I start to have other problems like the tranny and such

your best bang for the buck mod will be the convertor.

lt's might give you a tenth

forging gives you nothing

a convertor should be good for 2.5 to .5

I think he means .25 to .5. That also depends on how many other mods you have done to compliment the headers (i.e. filter, pulley).
