OKAY- Now I believe
OKAY- Now I believe
Let me start by saying that I have a tendency to look at some of the claims on this board with a lifted eyebrow. You know, that sort of twisted eye thing that your, and my father did when he did not believe what we were trying to pass off on him when we got caught telling that little tale to cover our tracks.
Well, now I have to appologize for not believing.
I went to the local track yesterday, left the slicks at home, and decided to see just how much difference there was between them and the F-1's.
All 3 passes I made were within .01 to .02 on the 60 foot times.
The first 2 passes ( time trials) were within .02 on the E/T, and
1.5 mph, both at the 1/8 and the 1/4.
And on the first round of eliminations which was my 3rd pass, I
BROKE OUT, and ran .1 under my best time , and 1.5 mph faster than I did with the Hoosier 28x10x16's.
And on the first two passes, my mph was identical at both the 1/8 and 1/4 on both passes. Talk about the comuter working good!!!
The track had been treated with VHT,and the F-1's were hooking great. Maybe I shouldn't be so skeptical in the future.
